It was our first time to Europe, but we really never felt the pinch coz it was so very well planned from the beginning. Dilip is an awesome planner who guides you through and through. He knows the nuances of backpacking so well that it’s not just the logistics he plans, but also guides you through every small requirement a backpacking trip demands. There are definitely no surprises when you get down there because you would have lived the tour even before you have reached there. Our backpacking has been one of the most well planned awesome experiences we have ever had, extremely hassle free and enjoyable. We not only did it at a surprisingly low budget, but also never compromised with comfort and joy throughout. Thanks to Dilip once again for making it all happen.

We heard of Dilip’s venture exactly when we were thinking about visiting Europe and we’re so glad we did. If you are debating over a package tour v/s a backpacking trip, don’t think twice. Just hop on to the bus and you’ll be more than satisfied. As daunting as it seemed, Dilip more than simplified the whole process and put us at ease. He also left some of it to be discovered on our own which made it all very memorable. Nothing compares to the local flavours we experienced on the trip. I would certainly recommend this to family and friends.

My initial plan was just do Athens Marathon and come back. But, when Dilip suggested that a backpacking trip after Marathon would be a great idea, I naturally jumped in. Though Dilip couldn’t join me for the trip, initial planning was for a trip together. And, it was fun to see him making a plan for a 2 week backpacking trip with a professional ease, and of course, customizing it to suit my interests. Well equipped with all the required information and right tools for booking tickets, accommodation etc., he made it a trivial task. While I was on the trip, I didn’t have to worry about any logistics, as everything has been planned and discussed. And, I had all the time to explore the places that I visited. So, if you are looking for any kind assistance in planning a Europe trip, Dilip’s first hand experience will definitely come more than handy. Take my word, just go for it.

My Europe trip was long overdue and it was the absolute right time to do it in Aug 2011 because (i) the timing was perfect and (ii) i now had anisha as company for all the crazy adventures and (iii) there was this guy anisha met in her office who had backpacked through europe and was willing to plan most of the stuff for us (for a small fee of course).

Anisha and I are not great believers in luxury travelling and Dilip seemed to have done exactly the kind of trip we wanted to do. I love to plan all my trips, but I did not have the time to do my research. Dilip understood what kind of a tour we wanted to do and charted out the places we have to visit, how to get there (ideal combination of air+rail), suggested places to stay and was willing to be available on phone if we ran into any trouble – more than what we could ask for.

    Dude, thanks for everything!

Dilip is a god-send for people like me who felt besieged by the amount of information available on the internet for Europe backpacking. I mean, the place is so diverse and has so many intricate systems, that if you do not have someone to guide you, you can keep postponing it as I did a couple of times. Finally, I came across Dilip’s blog and decided, along with Savithri to turn to him for help. The beauty about talking to him and planning is that, at the end of the exercise, he makes you feel as if you have done it all by yourself 🙂

He helped clear all fears and misconceptions we had; and more important stayed by our side at all points of time.

Needless to say, we had a wonderful time. Thanks Dilip 🙂

Italy. Yes, that’s where we decided to travel as part of our second visit to Europe. Our first one being a package tour, we were very keen on doing a backpacking on our own, this time around. Having known Dilip for quite sometime now, I knew about this venture of his. And so, without second thoughts, I sent him an email giving him our travel dates. Very quickly, he came up with the first version of the itinerary, covering places suitable to our liking. We then had a couple of discussions over phone (across different timezones!), and fine tuned it to arrive at the final plan. As many people would have experienced, planning to backpack Europe can be overwhelming for first-timers. Dilip was our friend, philosopher and guide in that sense :p

Thank you, Dilip, for all your help!
